Hey, I'm Star

Some of you might know me as Kennedy. Others might know me as the cryptid in the back of your concert photos. I am a music photographer and multimedia designer based in West Virginia.
If there was one thing you should know about me, I am a nerd for all things movies and comics. My love of eccentric media has shaped my creative eye for photography and multimedia design.
“I'm not that interested in recreating reality. I'm interested in recreating an emotional truth.” – Guillermo del Toro

As a photographer, I aim to capture the fleeting moments and atmosphere of performances through my editing. Due to my use of vibrant colors and heavy shadows, I like to brand my style as "macabre fluorescence".

“I always have this gnawing desire to create something I agree with emotionally, plus the sensation that I know nothing and must learn more.”

When you think of lyric videos, you probably imagine some words fading in and out of a screen with a picture behind it. As a multimedia designer, my goal is to push the boundaries of what a lyric video means. Lyric videos can be creative works of art that not only show the lyrics but also convey the feeling and meaning of the music through typography, video, photography, and 2-D and 3-D elements.
My vision for lyric videos elevate them from slideshows at karaoke night to videos you want to watch on repeat.
